*UPDATE*

108km were completed before I had to take an enforced break due to an injury !

Frustrating and unavoidable a small set back, the great news is I am delighted to be in better shape and ready to  complete my challenge in the coming 7 days.

Thank you so much for all the support to date. Your messages and fabulous donations …it is greatly appreciated. The kindness and generosity brings an abundance of gratitude to you , especially in these unprecedented and challenging times like none we have known.

So I am wanting to smash my target!  …remember only I will feel the pain ! J  Please share , share and share with your friends and families and colleagues …as little as £5.00 or the cost of a posh coffee will help greatly and R2R will benefit from every penny.

Watch out for a fab competition too……open to all donators !

Thank you again ……see you at the end J    Stay Safe

The unprecedented situation we are facing led to the unfortunate postponement of the long awaited Combined Services Military Ball due to take place in Jersey on 23rd May. Special guest speakers Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox , Jamie Sanderson , Lee Spencer and guests The Magic Marine and the Old soldier were ready primed and excited for the event in May , now taking place  10th October 2020.

May to October is an opportunity to tackle a static challenge whilst in this lockdown and from there the fundraiser ‘London to Amsterdam’ is born. I am ‘stepping out of the comfort zone’ as I am not a natural athlete !  And with determination I’m getting on my bike for Rock2Recovery!  350 miles (rounded up) to be completed in the next 10 days around working from home. I will tackle this both statically on a cycle trainer and on the road , keeping to the lockdown rules of curfew in Jersey of 2 hours exercise daily , pushing myself to get the job done over the 10 days ahead.

Please help me raise funds for the continued amazing services and support Rock2Recovery provide for veterans , 999 responders and their families.

In these time especially, it is good to talk , change can happen.

Thank you in advance for your kind support. It is appreciated.
